Building some drone oscillators

at Vishal Electronics, SP-Road

Back to Vishal Electronics at SP-Road to buy the kits for a workshop in Bombay. Everything is said to be bigger in Bombay but I got little traumatized by the news about 50 participants have registered for building little sound noise boxes with Yashas and me. We broke down to 25 and switched from soldering PCBs to plug&play breadboards.

Breadboard quad-40106 oscillator

It’s gonna be a  40106 oscillator circuit with LDRs (light dependant resistors) that makes some 4-voice noise and can be modulated with a little torch or lasers. The easy to change breadboard circuits may even be a better option than the soldered PCBs as the 40106 offers some more experiments for the curious after the workshop is done.

    MARCH 11, 2013 5:00 PM

    By Aneesha Gaba

    When: 11th March to 16th March 2013

    Where: Bhavishyavani Backyard, Bandra

What: The city is geared towards some exciting design exhibitions with IDW kicking off next week. One such off site project is OTLO by architect Ashiesh Shah and Tejas Mangeshkar. Otlo literally means an open seating area outside the main door of the house in Gujarati—you can expect things to be a little offbeat as the name. This open space will convert into a show area for off beat and forward thinking projects focusing on themes like media, materials, globalization and sustainability

Expect: Sheer ingenuity and brilliance. We got Ashiesh to tell us a little bit more about the projects and we were impressed by the duo from Bangalore Yashas and Ronn who will build you a sound system from the junk that you bring them, or Kushal Sethi who uses audio tapes to weave textiles. Little Shilpa is also a part of the exhibition, crafting hats out of sustainable materials.

  2. There are all those shops which are existing since years because of which many of them in the above list are arrogant and rude. The prices offered by many of these shops are very high and most of them do not have the stock and variety.
There is a surprisingly new company here by the name of Silverline Electronics which has all the variety one could find from Industrial Components, Industrial Automation Equipment, Micro-controller Boards, Sensors & etc, one must realy visit this shop by the name of Silverline Electronics to fell the good prices, good quality products and good customer service they provide.
They are also distributors & dealers of various brands like OMRON, SCHURTER,DELTA, SALZER, GOODSKY, LEONE, PLA, TEXAS, NXP, VEGAKIT,ARDUINO, RASPBERRY PI, DELTA, VARTECH, KUSAM MECO & Etc.
